All autoresponders are not created equally. There are paid for versions and there are free versions. The amount of money you pay for a service has no bearing on how good the service will be.

You simply need to be certain that he autoresponder service that you choose to use will provide you will all of the features that you really need in order for you to get the most out of it.

Your autoresponder is, after all, your connection to your list of customers and potential customers. This really isnt a place where you can safely cut corners or try to lower your expenses.

When you are deciding on the autoresponder that you will use for your email marketing business, be certain that it has all of the following features:

1.A personalization feature: This is so important! You need to have the ability to use the first names of your customers and potential customers in all email correspondence that you have with them.

Nobody wants to be, Dear Friend. The Internet provides anonymity but nobody want to be that anonymous.

2.Ability to send in either HTML or Plain Text format: You want to be able to send your messages using both formats rather than having to choose.
You can let the email programs of the recipients choose which version of your email to provide to your recipient.

If you can use HTML, you can use pictures, graphics and other media that can help to sell your products or service.

The Effectiveness of Email Marketing And The Dream Of an Email Marketer

Once upon a time, an email  marketer, who had worked very hard all day and started to wonder about the effectiveness of email marketing, went to bed and fell into one of those deep sleeps that makes you feel like you are dead.

He quickly found himself in dream land where he had a perfect dream.
In the dream,he wrote a marketing email that was so perfect that it was actually glowing with perfection.

He loaded this email into his perfect autoresponder and was notified that there was no
wait time at all.

The message was sent out immediately. There was a 100% delivery rate! He was ecstatic. It
just kept getting better.

He checked his tracking tools and found that every single email that
he had sent had been opened.

Not only had they been opened....the sales link in every email had been clicked on. He couldn't believe his eyes! A sale
had been made to every recipient of his perfect email, unbelievable!

Its too bad but that really was just a very nice dream. It isnt ever going to happen like that out here in the real world of email
marketing. There are, however, things that can be done to make it come partially true.

Remember that this guys dream started with a perfect email marketing message.The better and more concise a
marketing email message is, the better the click through rate will be and therefore relating to more sales.

Our dreamer did two important things right. He wrote a good marketing email and then he
tracked his results.These two things can drastically change the effectiveness of email marketing.

Both of these things can really help to make any email marketers dreams come true but don't expect that 100% sales rate...that is just a dream.
