How Going Offline Can Make You A Lot Of Money This Year

If you are an internet marketer, then you more than likely have seen the trend in fellow marketers going "Offline" promoting their internet marketing services to offline, local businesses. Recently it has been come a HOT topic of discussion and everyone seems to be going "Offline!" The reason why many internet marketers are deciding to get involved with offline consulting, is because it pays A LOT better than performing some of the same services for people online.

While as an online freelancer, you might be able to get a few dollars for writing an article and you might also be able to fetch a few hundred dollars for web design services; by taking your skills offline, you can get double, triple or even more from local, offline business owners. After hearing about the benefits of article marketing, business owners are very often willing to pay $25 per article or more.

Web design and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) services can also fetch THOUSANDS of dollars from offline "brick and mortar" businesses! I have landed thousands in deals with offline businesses to take control of their internet marketing campaign, fix their website up and do some BASIC, on-site optimization (SEO). These are all services that I perform daily on my OWN websites for FREE! Most internet marketers are used to this type of work and many can do it with their eyes closed.

However, if performing these tasks/services are not your strong point -- They can always be outsourced to "online freelancers" who generally do the same work for a lot less money (this might be YOU). Then you can up-charge the offline business and make yourself a nice profit without doing much work at all.

Now, hopefully you can see how taking your internet marketing skills OFFLINE can make you a LOT of money this year... And for many years to come.

Best of luck,

Jan

Do You Blog? If Not Your Are Losing Out.

Something I could never in my wildest dreams see myself doing was BLOGGING....

I don't consider myself much of a writer, blogging sounded pointless and boring to say the least.  Then one day I joined the renegade university to learn some new internet marketing and network marketing skills. I was particularly interest in this new thing called WEB2.0 that everybody was talking about.

To cut a long story short, one of the many great ways they teach on how to market your business and yourself very effectively was blogging.

Mike Klingler (renegade university) talked about how much blogging is growing and that we'd be crazy as internet marketers not to have a blog. Mike further explained that the search engines absolutely loves blogs because of many factors.

One of the key reasons why a blog will out rank a static html site is because search engines loves new content and with blogging you are adding new content on a daily or weekly basis and if you ping your blog correctly then the search engine spiders will keep indexing your site higher and higher.

Mike further explained how each blog post is like a new web page and gets indexed seperately and that over time you will have so many pages and content on your blog that your blog will start showing up on google for tons of different keywords.

Blogs are also more personal than static html sites and the writer and his readers can engage each other much easier and that makes blogging very effective and a great marketing tool.

I decided to try blogging and watched the step by step blogging videos from the renegade university, created my blog and started posting some useful info on it once every few days and now only once a week (i know i'm slacking). I also promoted my blog quite a bit in the beginning by posting in forums, linking to it from sites like hub pages , squidoo and other blogs.

After a few weeks I started seeing some traffic come in from google and other search engines. Now I don't even promote my blog at all anymore and I get traffic every single day like clockwork to my blog.

What more could an internet marketer ask for?

Cheers,

Jan Roos

Some Things Are Obvious...Are They?

It's easy to get into Internet marketing, and then after a while, think that certain aspects of running a business are logical. Well, if that's the case, why didn't we think of all the things that it took us months or even years to think of if they're so logical? In this article, I am going to touch on a few things that some people would assume are logical and show you how they are not so.

Let's take this statement. "You have to advertise in order to make sales." Now, on the surface, this would seem like an obvious statement. Of course you have to advertise to make sales. How else will anybody know your web site even exists?

Well, if that's the case, if this is so obvious, why is it that so many people create a web site and do nothing more than submit it for listing to a search engine? Do they REALLY think that's advertising? Maybe they do. Maybe in their mind, that's all advertising is.

Point is, most Internet marketers know that you have to do a lot more than that to make a sale. That's why we have safelists, Adwords, ezines, traffic exchanges, web 2.0 sites such as YouTube and so many other advertising avenues. So no, it's not so obvious that you have to advertise to make sales because some people just don't bother doing it.

How about this statement? "You have to sell something that people need?" Seems pretty obvious, right. Truth is, it's totally wrong. You don't have to sell something that people need. You have to sell something that people WANT. Tell me the truth...do people need the MLM business opportunity that costs $3,000 and has no product other than to get somebody to sign up under them?

No, of course not. They don't need it. They don't even want the product itself. What they want is the $3,000 commission. So let's not kid ourselves here. People buy things NOT because they need them but because they think those things will make their life better. It's a want...not a need.

Or what about this statement? "You need to know how to write in order to write sales copy?" Well, yeah, that's a duh statement if ever I heard one. Of course you need to know how to write. This is very obvious. Yet, I see sales pages out there that look like they've been written by 5 year olds.

Yes, they are THAT bad. Think these people know how to write? Think they even KNOW that they have to know how to write? They figure that they can throw up any sales page and just because of the fact that it's up there, it's going to make sales effectively. Yeah, and if wishes were horses, beggars would ride.

So before you think something is obvious...take a look around you at all the people who aren't doing it...yourself included.

Things only become obvious after you understand how important they really are.

To YOUR Success,

Jan Roos
